National Renewable Energy LaboratoryThe National Renewable Energy Laboratory has awarded Halotechnics a $1 million dollar subcontract to design and build a thermal storage system with a maximum operating temperature of 700°C.
National Science FoundationThe National Science Foundation has awarded a $150,000 Phase 1 SBIR grant to Halotechnics. The grant will support research focused on developing high temperature molten salt materials for applications in central receiver CSP plants.
